Kenneth Wright moved to Nashville on January 2nd, 1996 hoping to not only make a name for himself, but also to make a difference on the musical scene. Over 13 years later, countless gigs in "any place that hangs neon" and thousands of hours with a guitar, pen and paper in front of him, the South Carolina native is finally coming into his own! Upon arriving in Music City, Wright went to work. Playing over 150 dates a year can make you get better or send you home, and this blues man is here to stay. With a Tim McGraw cut, a publishing deal, a brand new album, a single and a video ready to be seen and heard, the singer/songwriter is becoming very busy to say the least. Kenneth recently signed with long-time friend and colleague Nathan Nicholson of S1 Songs Of America. "Nathan and I have been working together for a few years. He knows my catalog and what I bring to the table as a writer. It's a lot more than a publishing deal." The legendary pickers that make up his band, The Hostile Witnesses, change from time to time but what doesnÕt change are the heartfelt, soul-drenched shows. The Nashville Scene calls WrightÕs music "top-shelf black label blues" and anyone who has seen or heard him live will attest to that fact! If you have not heard or seen him, check him out around Nashville or get a copy of the new CD "Good Guy, Bad Guy," now available for purchase on CD Baby. Then again, he may be coming your way!
